A decades-long history
A practical and concrete approach, built day after day in the field, to ensure healthy horses and optimal performance.
No foot no horse
"No foot no horse” (no foot, no horse): an ancient proverb, passed down through time, which contains a truth that is still fundamental today. Even the best-performing horse, strong or valuable, without proper hoof health cannot fully express its abilities or maintain a true state of well-being.
The hoof is not just a support structure, but a living and complex element, constantly exposed to mechanical stress, variable environmental conditions, and external agents. Excessive humidity in winter, excessively dry soil during the summer, bacteria present in litter or mud: all factors that, if overlooked, can quickly compromise the quality and strength of the nail.
For this reason, foot care cannot be improvised.
It is necessary to rely on an experienced farrier or equalizer, capable of expertly intervening in shoeing or drawing, but above all capable of reading the hoof, understanding its needs and preventing problems before they arise.
It is precisely from this awareness, developed over years of fieldwork, that Franco Volpi's approach was born: a method based on direct experience, on daily observation and the continuous search for effective and concrete solutions. Not theory, but real practice, built horse after horse.
Because the foundation of everything remains a simple principle: horse health always starts from the ground.
Since 1987, the experience of a Blacksmith at your service.
Franco Volpi, a blacksmith since 1987, has built his professional career through years of fieldwork, working alongside horses and professionals with dedication and daily attention. A consolidated experience over time, born from practice and developed through constant interaction with the real needs of the sector.
Throughout his career, he has addressed a wide variety of situations, closely observing the most common hoof-related issues and refining an increasingly precise and informed approach over time. Collaboration with other farriers and veterinarians has helped further strengthen his skills, allowing him to integrate practical experience and technical knowledge.
His professionalism is based on a simple yet fundamental principle: every horse is different and requires attention, care, and appropriate solutions. It is precisely this vision, developed over years of direct work, that today represents a point of reference for those seeking reliability, competence, and continuity.
An experience that translates into trust, built day after day, in the field.
