How to best use Blacksmith Oil

The oil should be applied when the base is dry and clean. Use it when the hoof appears hard, dull or has small cracks, spreading it with the brush over the entire surface and insisting along the wall, the areas most subject to stress. The recommended frequency is at least 3 times a week, especially in the warm months or in dry environments, where the hoof tends to dehydrate more quickly.
